Daisy’s Desserts was contacted by the PR department in New York City to design a cake for Avon’s 125th Anniversary celebration on Tuesday in Atlanta. Joining Global Ambassador Reese Witherspoon and Avon CEO Andrea Jung was more than a 1,000 Avon representatives from across the country. Reese and Andrea arrived in Atlanta as part of the 16-city "Avon Believe World Tour" to celebrate the company's heritage and belief in its mission to empower women. Special guests such as Fergie, Patrick Dempsey, Suze Orman, Zoe Saldana and Yasmin Le Bon are expected to make appearances at many of the world tour events.

A photo of the cake with Reese Witherspoon was featured on Entertainment Tonight, E! News, Inside Edition and on several entertainment websites after the event.

Daisy's Desserts serves new product, Cake Crumb Sundaes, to the cast and crew offor the cast of Tyler Perry's Meet the Browns. The desserts were a hit with the actors and the crew, with many coming back for seconds. Cake Crumb Sundae flavors of Key Lime, Red Velvet, Chocolate Chocolate Chip and Coconut was served with the professional chef catered lunch. Red Velvet was and overwhelming favorite with Key Lime a close second. After lunch there wasn't a "crumb" left!

Sugar Coma Festival will bring dozens of confectioners, pastry chefs and bakers under one roof, Le Fais Do-Do on Atlanta's chic and bourgeoning westside. Doors will open at 2 PM sharp! You may drop in any time before 6 PM. Sugar Coma Festival is a great family outing or a wonderful way to spend an afternoon with friends.

Daisy's Desserts will provide the cakes for the Our Family Wedding movie premiere in Atlanta. The premiere is sponsored by the local Radio 1 stations Hot 107.9 and Majic 97.5. The premiere will take place at the Regal Cinema Atlantic Station. Daisy's Dessert's will be make 6 two-tiered wedding cakes.

Wendy wins the 2009 Serenbe Farms Chili Cook-off. Wendy one the grand prize in her first ever savory food contest. Being a pastry chef, this was a huge challenge for Wendy. Daisy's Desserts, Atlanta's premier specialty dessert company, will launch new products and a new website, September 1, 2009.

Our new website was designed by Brad Weaver of Omma Creative! It has been a wonderful experience working with Brad and his staff. The site is more interactive and will be used to keep our client family current on what's baking in our kitchen!

We will launch three new product lines Fall 2009, the first line to launch September 2009 are our southern pound cakes. The pound cakes will be the first in line of our organic desserts that will be shipped nationwide. Sunday Sweets will launch October 2009 and will feature a classic Southern "Sunday Dinner" dessert. Banana Pudding will be the first featured dessert on Sunday, October 5, 2009. Last but not least our new line of Chocolates are planned for the Holidays 2009.
